A Depressing Sight: Korean Stand-Up Comedians

They say the key to understanding a foreign culture is understanding their sense of humor. If that's the case, I may never really figure out South Korea and its misplaced funny bone.

An Yun Sang is a self-described "gagster," whose Starcraft-inspired antics have made him relatively famous online. Considering the recent buzz surrounding Blizzard's return to the legendary franchise, Sang's mimicry seems slightly relevant. My only question: Where was he taking that Dragoon imitation? He was way off.

Haha. I definately laughed. But I can't tell whether it was because of this video's stupidity, or because of the comic's talent.

This'll keep me up at night.

Hah, I thought overall pretty good, with the sound effects too...probably due to the way the dragoon's voice is supposed to be coming from inside that tank-thingy, in a sort of futuristic reverb electronic transmission (I could be way off on my description, since I'm not a sound engineer, but hopefully you get what I'm trying to say) it was a hard voice to mimic, but I could kind of see what he was going for there.....btw didn't understand a word of it, but did recognize all the voices well enough to get a chuckle:)

I definitely laughed, too, but it was more that kind of awkward, nervous, "I don't get it; should I laugh?" kind of laugh.

LOL

I haven't checked in the squeal, but if you guys wanna hear something funny, repeatedly click on the units in Starcraft. Clicking on a Drone, for example, it'll mumble something like, "Shtop It-t-t." Click on Firebats, and they'll invite you to their bbq. And Archons say that it's "It's soo pretty here, they should have sent a poet." Good stuff. :)
