It's almost the end of July, which can mean only one thing: It's time to take a look at Bitmob's most-read community article from June. OK, it's a little late, but you guys helped Bitmob set its all-time record for traffic during the month, so we've got to recognize your great work.

June saw a big showing from the women of Bitmob. Meghan Ventura had two articles in the top 10, and my baby sister (not actually a baby, but she acts like one), Christie, took the second spot this month. Yes, her article did better than my best article from the same month. Blah, blah, blah. Nice work, ladies!

Oh yeah, there was that little article from Matthew Orona that we should probably talk about. Matthew's Bitmob debut is not only the most-read community submission of all time on Bitmob -- it's the most-read article on the site, period (that includes staff). Incredible job, Matthew.

Wow, this list is hard to make! I was sure I was going to be on it this time!  I beat my hit record twice in a row and couldn't make the list either month.  I'm going to have to keep trying I guess.

@Chris: Not sure if this will make you feel better or not, but you were #11 or #12 from what I remember. You missed the top 10 by about 200 hits. You're close!

*sigh* I'm never going to make this list. Big congrats to Matthew; I loved that story and smiled when I saw Kotaku picked it up.

Wow, surprised and glad to see two stories on the list ^^ Thanks to all who read them. Unfortunately, I don't think there's aaany way I'll be on the July list. Guess I'll aim for August? ;)

Mega-congrats to Matthew on getting picked up by Kotaku. Way to go!

I'm curious as to how many hits the #1 post got. I'd love to know what the metrics are, here, to track my own progress at getting into contention for the list. :)

Matt's article was spectacular and really lent itself to cohesive discussion.  As an experiment, I posted it on my own forums with an intentionally sparse description to see who would actually follow the link and read it versus who would just rage about what they assumed the subject was, and to my pleasant surprise, barely anyone fell for my trap.  It's great that we're moving away from the dark days of headstrong, reactionary posting.

This is going to make me sound incredibly dense, but I'm a long-time reader whose just now getting around to checking out the user submitted content and I'm curious, how do you submit an article?

Do you have to email it someone or is there a dropbox?

Then I double posted on accident.  Oh jeez, I'm not starting off well.
