I know discussion topics are usually the realm of Toby and Lance, but I think I've got a pretty good one. Have any other bitmobbers put together an excellent game costume? Be it for a convention, Halloween, or just cos-playing 'round the house-- post your pics and experiences down in the comments.

Another deleted scene from Star Trek: Generations.

In the fourth grade I dressed up as Vega from Street Fighter 2. No one got it; everyone thought I was dressed as a Jason/Freddy mashup. I guess they didn't quite get that copyright issues don't apply to kids on Halloween. As the great poet of our generation, the Fresh Prince, once said, "Parents just don't understand". The above picture is from a Halloween party I attended in 2005. I went as Mario and handed out chocolate gold coins the whole night. No one told me James T. Kirk was also to be in attendance. Needless to say, the image of me dressed as Mario and drinking two beers with the captain of the Enterprise remains among my proudest accomplishments. I don't even know that guy's real name.
That same year my then girlfriend Stacey went as Princess Peach, but everyone just thought she was a really regal looking prom date. On the flip side, a buddy of mine was dressed as Robin Hood that year and any time he stood next to me the room addressed him as 'Link'. Strange.

Again- Post your experiences/pics down in the comments!

When I was in the third grade I dressed up as Quickman for Halloween(sorry, no pictures remain). It was the first time no one knew what my costume was. Actually, I guess that's not true, I was "Danger Mouse" in the first grade and even I didn't know what that was then...... anyway, what was I last year?(Hint: you've got a mustache. I KNOW)

I've only dressed up twice and both were Capcom characters: Ruby Heart from Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (there's some pictures laying around somewhere); and Akuma (recent, as in April of this year). And yes, that is my real hair. It's ridiculous sometimes. Most people knew who I was immediately and a guy even stopped me and said "You are the sexiest Akuma I've ever seen." Strange, indeed. At the same convention that I attended, I took some pictures of folks. They are friends and decided to dress up together. I did ask if it was over 9,000. I had to get the picture of him and it had to be in black and white. He very graciously posed. OK, I have no idea why my images aren't showing up and why I can't edit the comment to delete them out. Anyway, for the time being, here's the link: http://s132.photobucket.com/albums/q38/Dark_Rubes/Nashicon 2009/

My favorite Trek uniform is the red jacket with black pants of Star Trek 2-6. It's just classy, elegant, and very naval.
