I know discussion topics are usually the realm of Toby and Lance, but I think I've got a pretty good one. Have any other bitmobbers put together an excellent game costume? Be it for a convention, Halloween, or just cos-playing 'round the house-- post your pics and experiences down in the comments.
Another deleted scene from Star Trek: Generations.
In the fourth grade I dressed up as Vega from Street Fighter 2. No one got it; everyone thought I was dressed as a Jason/Freddy mashup. I guess they didn't quite get that copyright issues don't apply to kids on Halloween. As the great poet of our generation, the Fresh Prince, once said, "Parents just don't understand".
The above picture is from a Halloween party I attended in 2005. I went as Mario and handed out chocolate gold coins the whole night. No one told me James T. Kirk was also to be in attendance. Needless to say, the image of me dressed as Mario and drinking two beers with the captain of the Enterprise remains among my proudest accomplishments. I don't even know that guy's real name.
That same year my then girlfriend Stacey went as Princess Peach, but everyone just thought she was a really regal looking prom date. On the flip side, a buddy of mine was dressed as Robin Hood that year and any time he stood next to me the room addressed him as 'Link'. Strange.
Again- Post your experiences/pics down in the comments!
