Is E3 just another gaming convention, or is there more to it? While Chloe and I were busy abusing booth babes, Bitmob's UK video team, Collective Visual, was out exploring the show floor and asking attendees what the event means to them. Then again, this might all just be one big effort to impress that cute Nintendo girl...
Great video guys. I totally got a motion graphics boner when a name title card briefly tucked behind someone's head. And yes, that Nintendo girl was fairly attractive too, I guess.
I attented E3 for the first time this year, and while at times I was overwhelmed by the intensity of it all (and the amount of standing/walking I had to do!), knowing that I was in the center of the gaming universe was an incredible feeling. The video totally captures that.
Was that woman at the end really named D B Cooper? That's also the name popularly used to refer to a man who hijacked a 727 in the early '70s, stole $200,000, and parachuted into the wilderness, never to be seen again.
Excellent video! The highlight for me was the Capcom Unity guy. Not only did he get to experience the madness that is E3, he also got facetime on Bitmob. You can’t top that.
It's totally true; the first time I attended E3, I was in complete awe. It really is nice to be surrounded by people with like minds and the same interests. I really appreciate it after a year of working with people who respond to my nerdy comments with, "Hah, that's so cute. You're such a dork!" or "Oh, you like video games? I played Call of Duty once."
What a lyrically beautiful work this is. I told Prince and his guys this when I met them, but it bears repeating: They deliever work that's far in excess of anything you'll see on any other gaming site, and most other sites as well.
It's nice to see the other side of going to E3. Whenever people in the press talk about the experience going to E3 it's always about how crazy it is and how they would not reccomend anybody to go there.
WOW! What an amazing video. Makes me sad that I will probably never attend an E3, so I'll just have to settle with PAX. Great job for those behind making it. Just another great reason to be a gamer. Thanks guys!
