Explored the Void (Bit.Trip Void)

Well, that whole mystery thing we posted about the Explore the Void website turned out to be just a few simple teasers for Bit.Trip Void, the newest retro-themed shooter/rhythm game from Gaijin Game's Alex Neuse. Sorry -- no ARG, no clever viral-marketing campaign, no weird metagame puzzle to solve...I Love Bees, this was not. This leaves us wondering why Neuse wanted us and the readers to "figure it out." Figure what out, exactly?

Anyways, anyone going to PAX can check the game out for themselves. In the meantime, here's some gameplay footage for you.

Yeah, that does seem similar to Ikaruga. Wonder if that was the inspiration for this installment. Anyway, looks cool. I'll be sure to buy it when it comes out (if I have the money, that is).
