2Guys_1BlackBackgroundYou might've noticed a new link has snuck into our nav bar up above: Jobs. This isn't related to anyone Bitmob is looking for in particular (we still need a Ruby on Rails developer!) but real, actual paying opportunities in the game industry.

Our partners at GameJobCentral will be updating this page regularly, so check back often.

And if your company is hiring, you'd be supporting Bitmob in a big way by listing a job posting through us via the link above. At the moment, we're offering $100 off the normal price, so hurry up and start stimulating the economy already.

Even though jobs in the gaming journalism industry are less common, it would be great to have a category for those opportunities when they arise.

This is an excellent resource! Thank you very much. Lance, best of luck with the BioWare position. I too looked at it. Speaking of jobs in gaming journalism, when can we expect to hear news about the editor's positions at Bitmob?

I also think that listing job opportunites in the journalsim field would be a good idea. I would like to have an idea of what my options are once I graduate in the spring.

Just to make things clear. I suck at writing. That is why I comment a lot, for after about 15 words my sentences start to make no sense. Everyone else on Bitmob are talented writers. That is why I like to read stuff on Bitmob. So to recap: Me - BAD Everyone Else - GOOD :D

Hey guys, 1. Our editorial search is nearing the end. We have about 7-8 finalists. Over the next two weeks when he has time, Jason will be letting people know the status of their application. We REALLY appreciate all the submissions! But there are a few who got the edits down perfectly, so we'll be looking at them first...even over the guys who may have missed just one tiny thing. 2. That job board isn't an editorial thing we're putting together. It's up to the companies to pay to put job listings there. So if an editorial group is formally hiring and want to pay for a listing, they can.

My grandmother's death derailed the editorial search for a little while. Sorry about that, folks.

@Jason - No big deal. Sorry to hear about that. I'm very tight with my grandparents too, and I understand where you're coming from.
