I've been hammering away at Battlefield 1943 since it's release and, wow, I'm just completely and hopelessly addicted. The game is just plain fun.

Not going to dissect it really, just wanted to point out a couple things:

a) The game has an annoying bug. And maybe it only happens to me, but when I'm playing as the scout class and I see a tank, I rush over and plant some explosives right on the tank. I hit the explosives trigger and...nothing. I have to throw two, sometimes three explosives before I actually throw an explosive.

What's funny is that, even though this seems like a real annoyance, now I just automatically hit the throw-explosive-button more than once. I hope they fix it, though. Anyone else have this happen to them?

b) I really like flying planes, even though I'm terrible at it. Last night I got two kills in the same match with a plane. Maybe I'm getting better.

c) My favorite class is sniper. Last night I had 12 kills and 0 deaths. It was fantastic, and it felt really cool to sneak around the map without anyone noticing me.

There's was also one time last week when three guys and a tank passed right by me and didn't even notice me (duh, otherwise they would've killed me).

d) There's no blood or gore. It's funny, too, cause I didn't even notice it at first. And it doesn't make it any less fun, either.

Anyway, just a quick couple of things I wanted to mention. Anyone else hopelessly addicted?
