OCRemix: Essential Gamer Audio

It's almost impossible that somebody as game focused as you, dear bitmobber, could possibly not know about OCRemix- but as a video game hero I'm used to battling incredibly improbable threats (I've played Resident Evil, for God's sake).  OverClocked Remix is everything online sharing was meant to be; highly talented people making excellent things sharing them for free because they love it so much. This isn't that annoying guy who plays Mario every time he sees a piano and expects an ovation, these are talented musicians rebuilding the beeps you grew up to into something you can still listen to.

Some samples:

Ryu for Four Pianos:   Those who've only heard the bad stuff say remixers are mere monkeys who can work a computer.  If they can still say that after hearing this, punch them in the head. A classical masterpiece with a soft start, a ripping rendition of the Ryu theme and thundering climax make a magnificent piece. Other Street Fighting Sonics you might want to check out are the ass kicking "Go home and be a family man" mix and the loungetastic chillaxing of "Wrestling with double bass".

Starfox Godspeed: This song brings tears to my eyes, but that's because I've got a list of high scores where a childhood should be. Anybody who enjoyed Starfox (the REAL one, the first one, the one where Fox understood that every second outside of the fighter was a useless second) will grin at the rerecorded intro, this time with launch-prep voices you can actually hear. All the musical cues you remember are here, from a fast Corneria chorus mixed to an aquatic Sector Y chill before the final beats engage. To the author, "The Wingless", I say "Congratulations on a job well done".

F-Zero Blue Vacation: A relaxing F-Zero tune? Inconceivable! But here it is, immediately recognizable as the definitive F-Zero tune but with the absolute opposite vibe. F-Zero music that chills you out, calms you down, and makes you think it's a good idea not only blink but actually lie back and close you eyes? Truly, this internet is a world of miracles. Miracles and mellow steel drums.

Now remember that game you used to play, head over to the site, and have people wondering why you're grinning like an idiot with headphones on.
