This morning, I Tweeted out a picture of this typo that I found on the spine of the Resident Evil Revelations box:

I thought I'd share it here on Bitmob as well.

User Jimb0 on the Capcom Unity forums asked about this error, and Christian Svensson, Capcom's corporate officer and senior vice-president, responded with this:

We're aware that this has affected a portion of the production run. There's likely to be some news to follow closer to launch on this topic.

Perhaps we now own a soon-to-be-rare, collector's version of this 3DS game? It is due out in stores Feb. 7.

Revelaitons, huh? Maybe it was supposed to be "Revelaytons," and the game is, in fact, a Resident Evil/Professor Layton crossover! Har-har.

I'll be quiet now.

That's embarrassing...they misspelled "Revengeance."

Man, that's rough. It was Capcom who also lifted an IGN image of Okami, forgot to remove the IGN watermark, and used it as the cover art! Ha! Capcom has no luck. Oh well, we all misppel things every once in a while. Not me though. My writing is as perfec as one can get. I'm not trying to toot my own horn hear or any thing. but in all me years of writing I have never, evar, mispelled a single word. I proof reed everything about a dozen times befour I even post it.

Im just that good. ;)

Nintendo recently had "Nobember" printed on one of the Nintendo Club rewards calender inserts. I'm sure if I hold onto this thing long enough it'll be worth value to someone.

How many people saw this and did nothing?  And what do you want to bet only one person will get fired for this?

The poor localization was touched on by the 8-4 crew in their most recent podcast, episode 1/27: Industry Sources. This proves they were right.
