Retro Ads: Nintendo Vs. System collection

Only Nintendo would port home-console games into arcades rather than trying to perfect the opposite. The Nintendo Vs. System turned NES titles (not all of which were natively multiplayer) into coin-operated competitive machines.

The Vs. System was actually very well supported despite not surviving past the late '80s. I've compiled a gallery of the most interesting and surprising offerings that ended up in these two-player arcade cabinets.

I actually remember playing the Mario game at our local Funworks quite a bit. And some of these systems still survive in the mall I worked at in San Diego.
