SSF4 Character List

Last night I went to this girls party and I was discussing Super Street Fighter 4 with her husband and we were talking about the characters and how they will stack up. He proceeded to tell me that Street Fighter wasn't really his thing, he was more of a Tekken guy. Out of the blue, some guy (HAMMERED) yells " VIRTUA FIGHTER!!! YEAAA!". Of course we all bust out laughing. But it got me thinking, how many fighting game are there? So we started listing all the different fighting games out there & this is what we came up with:

So as you can see, we came up with a pretty impressive list. What other fighting game do you remember?

It's Virtua Fighter, not Virtual ;) There are a lot more fighting games, a real lot: Bloody Roar, Ehrgeiz, Battle Arena Toshinden, Dissida Final Fantasy, Fighters Megamix, Fighting Vipers, Last Bronx, Rival Schools, Samurai Shodown, Star Wars: Masters of Teras Kasi, Guilty Gear, Art of Fighting, Bleach, Darkstalkers, Eternal Champions, Fatal Fury, Karate Champ, King of Monsters, Pit-Fighter, Rise of the Robots, World Heroes, and Shaq-Fu. Are you just looking at traditional one vs. one fighters? In not, Smash Bros. and Power Stone are a couple of others. Maybe the sword fighting game Bushido Blade and the martial arts game Budokan. I did do a little research to refresh my memory but only mentioned the ones I'm familiar with. I never did play Shaq-Fu, however I have a great advertisement I took from the toy store I worked at. Anyways, that's just a sampling, there are plenty more 8)

Red Earth mang! You also forgot Capcom vs SNK and it's twin brother SNK vs Capcom Chaos.
