Editor's Note: Alejandro decided that since he's covering IndieCade this weekend, it'd be nice to shine some light on some of the featured games. That, and speak in third-person for once. -Alejandro
Video Blips:
• Aether is a cute frolic through the universe that aims to portray and explore the emotions and anxieties of childhood. It's essentially Bitmob: The Video Game. [GameTrailers]
Continue after the break for a steampunk puzzler by the name of Cogs, ClassicNight's run-of-the-mill skeleton collecting light for the moon action, and The Maw -- a story about an alien boy and his alien pet.
• What do you get when you add steampunk aesthetics to a clever, 3D puzzle game? A blown mind. [YouTube]
• We can tell you that in ClassicNight, you play as a skeleton who makes structures to provide light for a talking moon (to become brighter than the sun, naturally) while avoiding dangerous moon-inhabiting creatures. Hopefully that helps to clear things up. [YouTube]
• The Maw from Twisted Pixel, the guys behind fan favorite Splosion Man, is another finalist in the show. Disregard the colorful game world they created -- this game gets major points for the creepy logo. [YouTube]
