Raves are overrated. The Game Developers Conference 2010, on the other hand? Now that's what I'm talking about.

Video Blips:

• Watch as Mega64 breaks down how GDC 2010 is gonna be off the hook. Ain't no party like a...game...developer party...etc. [Mega64]

Continue after the break for the apocalyptic future of Front Mission: Evolved, gameplay footage of the awesome indie puzzle game Limbo, and the Japanese trailer for Mega Man Zero: Collection

• Square Enix has some dire predictions for the world in 2171 A.D. So wait, we'll have giant fighting robots but still drive around in 2003 Chevy Blazers? The future sucks. [Kotaku]

• Limbo is a pretty slick looking game with a dark, creepy atmosphere. Contrary to what the title might imply, it's not set on a sunny beach in Jamaica. [GameVideos]

• Zero's theme song is pretty rockin'. It's too bad the audio in this trailer sounds like it was recorded from a Game Boy. [GameTrailers]

Laughingly enough, the Mega64 video is posted on GDC 2010's home page. Heh. Since to see they've got a sense of humor.

@MicKinley, yeah from what I can tell, GDC had Mega64 make that "commercial" for them. Nice to see they have a sense of humor indeed.

I really hope the Mega Man Zero Collection gets localized. I only bought the first game and, after some intense frustration, finally beat it a few years later. Few games leave you with a sense of satisfaction for beating them like Mega Man with its unforgiving difficulty.

@Max, did it take you a few years to beat it or did you just pick it back up after a few years?
