Videogaming in Canada; What, Canada!?!

This is sort of a reply to Matt from Halifax, who is seems to get bullied for videogaming, where the full story is in the Bitmob Mailbag December 16 Edition by Aaron Thomas.    I'm also from this place called Canada, I'm right in the middle too, in Saskatchewan. Anyways, bullying in Canada due to videogames is I don't think that much different from our neighbours to the south. I'm sure it's pretty much the same everywhere. I know my friend sold his GBA and SNES cause he was getting bugged about playing videogames. I think this occurred when he was in Grade 6 in Highschool.  Right now at this present time, he's a bigger gamer than me, which is weird that he sold his games cause of what people thought of his life. It's kinda funny cause I bought Contra III from the kid he sold his stuff to, and also all his Poke'mon games too. I don't think bullying about videogames is that big an issue. Partly cause it's a new era, where so many different demographics are now playing videogames, with games on the Wii, iPhone, and things like Rockband and Guitar Hero. People are starting to understand that we're having a lot of fun playing videogames, and it's catching on. Especially these simple games on the iPhone, where people like Megan Fox are even playing games, like this one title Sally's Salon. It's a new era, and hopefully one for the better.

Where is this Canada you write of?

I love how we joke about Canada; I was so pumped that one of the writers in EGM was Canadian, Greg Sewart.
