Where we store our portable systems

As I was cleaning up my messy room this morning an odd question popped into my head. Where do we store our portable systems?

For consoles it's usually an easy question we can often find a home console sitting near a television (if it's in use any more).

But where do we store our systems for on the go?

Over the past couple of years I've had mine just sitting near my stereo system, I've had them tucked away in a dresser drawer that I converted into a storage space for extra game stuff, and I've also had them just haphazardly laying around on my floor.

Currently they are sitting in empty slots on what was an odd metal rack that holds DVD's.

Top left is my PSP, middle left is an old Game Boy, middle right is a GBA, bottom left is my DS Lite, and bottom right is a GBA SP.

I'm wondering where others' store their systems at and possible get a few ideas for myself.

I'm pretty much the same as you. I usually store them on my desk, but sometimes I'll leave them near my PS3.

My PSP is usually in my coat pocket (in a plastic shell case) or on my coffee table. What I want to knwo is where people keep their controllers!!!

Mine are typically stored in random drawers. Once I'm "done" with a system I put it back in its box, and then put it in one of the big boxes that houses my collection of old systems.

Yea nothing exciting here. My DS and GBA Micro are just sitting on top of my dresser with their respective games.

I keep my DS in a hard case with latches and and handle. It usually resides under my computer desk.

I have a computer bag that holds all of my stuff. (The RoadWired MegaMedia bag, by the way…I love it as if it were a woman.) It is currently holding my DS, GBA SP, PSP, along with extra games (maybe five Game Boy Color games, six GBA games, and at least 20 DS games). Oh, and all the chargers and cables.
