Yesterday, WonderCon 2010 (San Francisco's "Comic-Con Lite") wrapped up, and approximately 5,000 nerds went home more broke than when they showed up.
My pictures from the expo aren't nearly as nice as the ones Demian took (he has a real camera, while I was using my iPhone). And I'm not nearly as sharp a caption writer as he is. Regardless...here are some photos for you, of WonderCon toys, Pikachu boys, and more wonderfully geeky stuff.
I didn't escape unscathed either. I didn't buy much in terms of gaming gear, but I did fill up some of my other dork meters at the show. I included a picture of my own haul at the end of this picture gallery.

You can buy/find this stunning print and others from artist John Giang at www.orbitalharvest.com. Perhaps you can even get him to airbrush this on the side of your Winnebago, which would be AWESOME.

Cuddly cuteness for the Final Fantasy/Mario fan in your life. These were prizes for a drawing, though...not specifically for sale.

A LOT of Halo 3 toys. Maybe some of these would've sold better with a "Now posable in teabag positions!" label.

Pokémon and Sonic plushies. Can you spot the Princess Peach? And I'd like to think the three-headed dog above is from God of War 3, but he's not.

This Team Fortress 2 scout was dead-on. Except for:

...this Zelda bag that she was carrying. When I saw that, I stopped believing.

This is IGN's Jessica Chobot...for $40. Insert your own inappropriate jokes here.

An alien rod from the sky probing at the wall of game shirts.

More shirts, less probing.

If I had an extra $40, I totally would've bought this thing. Proof that ugly still has some value in my life. Apparently, Nintendo put out a collection of these back in the '80s. I've never seen them before. Anyone have any of these? Share your pics below!

Brilliant inside jokes here, but if you're not sure about the shirt on the left, and you need to ask someone, do yourself a favor and don't click on whatever link they send you. We warned you.

Feels like Japan: soundtracks and other hardcore items for sale in Capcom's booth.

More Capcom booth goodies. I really badly wanted the $150 fighting-game arcade stick (not pictured), but then realized 1,500 packages of ramen would be much better use of my limited money.

Loved the Vega vs. Balrog fight-card shirt.

For sale and soon to be seen in Dead Rising 2.
