Many ingenious gamers around the world dedicate a lot of time and money to making portable versions of their home consoles. This is the first time I've ever seen someone take a handheld and turn it into a mini arcade machine. [via the Retroist]:
This delicate little cabinet is actually a rewired Game Boy Advance SP. It runs GBA cartridges and still has a functioning backlight. The only real change is that instead of repurposing the handheld's case and controls, the designer tracked town tiny arcade accessories including a mind-bogglingly small joystick!
I can't see why anyone would want to take an already convenient and small system and put it into an unwieldy box, but I also don't understand the purpose of a portable Xbox 360. What I do know is that anyone skilled enough to completely redesign how we use hardware is a technological genius.
I'm doing well enough by just splicing my laptop power supply back together without causing an electrical catastrophe.
