"seems odd for Valve to put out a sequel so soon. I really was not expecting this at all, maybe a teaser for a 2010 release. Hopefully it will be part of another orange box, because $60-$50 for another L4D seems kinda steep, I purchased L4D with the expectation Valve would be supporting it for more then 1 year, lik"

"some post man. I pretty much agree with everything except maybe add multiplayer. My biggest gripe with Mirror's Edge was the repetitive mission structure. The game was very short so it didn't seem too bad, but I would love to see Dice mix it up instead of "make your way to this building, and about half way there your gonna have to run from the blue's". Maybe some missions where you are given a gun and you have to use it, stealth sections, boss battles, or more puzzley st"

"sona 3 was by far my favorite game of 07'. I think a big reason its so good is Atlus's localization team. The attentional to detail is amazing with every piece of dialogue feeling 100% authentic (even with all the honorif"

"otally agree with you, but I think it's a little unfair to compare the games market to movies, books, and music. Books and music are relatively cheap to produce and distribute, with budgets well under 1 Million. Movies have a unique market by charging $10 to see it at a theater, going dark for 6 months, and then charging $20 again to own it. I think the strategy is to incentivize new purchases and replayabil"

"some blog man. Its weird how a lot of us spend so much time gaming but have a tough time answering why. I think some of it is the escapism, but there has got to be something else. To me there is just something very captivating about manipulating whats on the screen. I cant articulate why its so satisfying to me, but it ju"

"h i see what your saying Peter, but my complaint is that I have already paid $60 and now the developer wants me to pay more. Did they really not know the ending was gonna piss people off or the level cap was kinda low, or did they just shrug it off because they knew that they could just fix it later and then charge for it. I really like Bethesda and I loved Fallout 3 until the ending, I just get the feeling all of the dlc is kinda half assed attempts to squeeze extra pennies out of us loyal f"

"or one think the idea of paid dlc is a bad idea (see horse armor, RE5) I think developers should make the best possible game they can, release it then move on to the next thing. I don't mind the extra multiplayer maps in Halo or CoD, but having to pay extra for a decent ending in fallout makes me mad. I think Valve's idea of releasing content for free to boost new sales instead of nickle and diming the loyal fans who already bought your game will pay off much better in the lon"
