"last midnight launch I went to before MW2 was the GTA4 launch. three of my friends and I had all pre-ordered it at the same GameStop in a mall in Atlanta. We get there about 9PM and notice that it was eerily quiet. As we tried to go into the store, Paul Blart Mall Cop stopped us and we were informed that the mall was closed and that there would be no midnight release at this location.
I noticed that the people working inside the store were motioning us to come in. I tried, and I think I was about an inch from being arrested by the security guard. The four of us start to leave and one of the workers comes out and tell us to wait outside for 20 minutes and she would be out to give us our games. Sure enough, 20 minutes later she walks out, grabs our IDs and receipts and brings us our games. Turns out there was some fight earlier in the evening and they canceled the event because of that. This mall isn't exactly in the best part of town either, so I can't say I was surp"

"guy who heads the GT franchise (can't remember his name right now) recently said that they could release GT5 at any time, they just didn't want to. It struck me as someone who is addicted to drugs or something similar to that. I honestly believe that the guy is never going to release the game because he is always going to try to go back and fix or change something. He is going to be found in a room with tissue boxes on his feet and jars of urine lining the walls like Howard Hughes or Mr. Burns in the hilarious episode of The Simpsons, "$pringf"
