She fell in love with that very quickly. After that around her birthday we decided to splurge and pick her up her own DS and let her pick out a game. "ave a three year old daughter. She is completely in love with video games. She's played many new games, her current favorites being LBP and Lego Indy on the PS3. She also plays games on a DS, current faves being Nintendogs and Kirby Platinum, she plays the Japanese version of Kirby because we also live in Japan. But she also loves the classics, I have a ton of Virtual Console games on the Wii, and she loves playing all of the classics especially the Mario games. My biggest concern with games was that she loved the 2D sidescrollers, and I wondered if she could handle a 3D platformer. One day I come home, and she had found some classic PS1 games and was playing Spyro while my wife was cooking. She was doing quite well with it, so the next day, I took out Super Mario Galaxy for her, she immediately fell in love and had no issues coming to grip with her first Wii-mote/nunchuck experience. Anyways, to my point...I've found that kids seem to not really be too concerned with the beautiful HD graphics and the amazing sound of new systems but just good ole gameplay.
