"In my opinion, Metroid has gained it's logical storytelling devices in Prime. All of the scripture tossed about in the game were superbly written and gave a sense of the world and Samus. She was seen as a force to be reckoned with because she is a force to be reckoned with. At the same time, little touches like her groans and the reflection in her visor reminded you that this person was still a woman. Honestly, I'm not sure why this isn't enough.

On top of this, Ridley was still large and foreboding without having Samus turn into a child.

I agree with Rob SavilloUltimately, Other M's depiction of Samus is just tired and uninspired. Her nueroses would have a little more credibility if they were focused and concise. Instead Samus seems to be timid and second-guessing herself in every single situation even if its killing her or someone she cares about (Varia suit authorization, freezing up in front of Ridley, etc)."

"I wonder if the people writing off Infinite were the same ones that embraced BioShock 2?  Fool me once, etc etc.

In any case, I'd much rather the original team do something new with the concept and ideas of BioShock rather than have 2k churn out sequels, so I'm excited about this. The way I see it, this is as much "BioShock in the sky" as BioShock was "System Shock in the sea".  That being said, I still would rather it be called something else but we all know it would have been named (noun-evoking-the-sky)shock. "

"I think about games all the time, but I never actually sit down and play them. Indeed, my play time is erratic and random. I don't understand the quip about board games when a session of the most popular games can take hours. I don't understand how video games are any less "real".

I have to admit though, I've never really had a problem with any sort of addiction. The closest I've been to being addicted was while speedrunning MGS4. "

"relieved to hear that I wasn't the only one who forgot the code. I felt so tired and vulnerable at that point of the game. Great article. More game series should be in tune with their past, in my opi"

"positive that the Epic Mickey non-exclusive rumors are bullshit. After all, the game is still listed under "Wii" for its platform and it makes sense to block some information before the reveal (and especially before the 2"
