Oh, So That's How Video Games Are Made
Written by Michael Donahoe

Video game developers are a bunch of dirty liars -- all these years we're heard about how games are made from pixels, polygons, and other imaginary computer shapes. Well, they're not. Turns out, it's all real. And we have proof! Just check out how the famous Mario mushroom is made [via Offworld]:

And all this time we thought that thing was made from pixels. This is worse than finding out that wrestling is fake. Not that we believe that. That'd be like thinking Santa Claus isn't real. Blasphemous!

Continue after the break to see how Sonic, Tetris, Pong, and Arkanoid are also made.

If I were to own a stately manor, I would replace Grecian statues with game figures. Because I would be supremely tacky.
