When I think of summer, I think of all the time that has been or is going to be murdered by my possibly unhealthy choice of hobby. During finals I tend to procrastinate, Word, Aim, Firefox, Word, Aim, Word, then I list out my pile of sham. I then decide the top three. Then once I realize what an ADD rut I'm In I finish my English paper. Essentially you got to see three credit rolls a month, its a cleansing experience to reestablish the hard core honor after a school year filled with social engagement and work.
This year I'm most definitely going to gamefly a copy of RE5 to play with a friend who I watched beat RE4 Wii in a day. I have to get another try at Shadow of the Colossus because I didn't get to scratch the surface of that game when I rented it. I'm still unsure about the third, It might be Okami but I'm not sure so please leave some suggestions in the comments.
When I go back and play some of my old games they straight up give me flash backs to when I would play them in the garage away from parental vision. Whenever I'm in the garage on a hot summer day I begin feel the pain in my fingers again from when I beat Alien Hominid. Taste of sunflower seeds always comes back to me whenever I play MGS:3 because the White hen down the street was still open when the game came out. I can tell you that last summer, the good Doctor Pepper was always at my house when MGS4 hit and watched Snake smoke like twenty cigarettes a cut scene.
I find it interesting that I'm able to identify individual summers and its quality's by looking back at what I played. Summer Is simply a great time to focus your Che on games. Makes me feel young and care free again in a time of my life where things are getting real and hectic.
