"h isn't that bad.
Gill should definitely be the low point of the testicle diameter graph. The health regen and "instant death anywhere" move where so far beyond any of Seth's completely counterable bullshit.
Now that Ryu juggle into Ultra, thats some real ball-shri"

"ase stop posting Mass Effect 2 gameplay mechanics before the Read More!
And on the front page too. Just say new gameplay details revealed, and post after the read more. Games sites are spoiling everything about this game. I know we are all excited, but it is out within 8 months, so please just hide the juicy stuff a bit"

"m really excited for this. All the innovations sound great. Finally a loot game that is not just a rehash of the Dark Alliance formula (I'm looking at you Sacred!)
Anyone got an idea how much room there is to move within the class structure? I would've preferred it to be classless like Fallout, and have more character model customisation, but its nice to see the concept come to fruition. Here's hoping its as slick as that latest gameplay vid with the developers spewing out some very cool"

You will find Infamous is quite similar in that regard. I know a few people who avoid the missions until they simply MUST have a new power o"

"eally good discussion point, Mr Fitch.
My reaction to your post is that I think of all the time and talent wasted on this All-Star Tales project, instead of working to create original and unconstrained works like The World Ends With You. That game was so unlike every trend in Japanese RPGs, while still being something that could only have come from Japan (a feeling which I still love in my games). Not since Chrono Trigger originally hit Australian shores on SNES cart has a JRPG had that much impact and hold on me.
And yet they still go for the fan-service and merchandise sales of existing IPs. These development houses still cling to their marginalised brands. Tales hardly sells outside Japan, and yet it still decides to go all Family Guy and reference itself, making the game even more inaccessible.
This resonates in anime too. Rarely do animation houses focus on the quality of their work, rather than production cost and sales potential.
I do not think it is a problem limited to Japanese corporate culture. I think the big players in the Japanese gaming industry are just further along in the chain of success, which then leads to profit-focused complacency. Western developers are several years behind in this sequence. Though, as the 360 console sales upon Vesperia's release shows, the sales patterns within Japan do nothing to promote a change of heart from their publishing and development houses.
I just wish there were more examples of Japanese developers like Smilebit and Q Entertainment. My eyes and thumbs still ache at the thought of Gunvalkyrie and Lumines, but I love them, because they took risks and ultimately engaged me on a whole new level.
Instead of another R-Type remake, or Tales, or any game with Curaga or Bahum"

"'edit comment' function makes my grammar fail so badly.
Also, I realised I didn't give my preference. So far I prefer Prototype, because I love how raw it is.
There's a certain zone it wants to take you to, and it doesn't care if that zone isn't pretty enough, or PG-friendly enough, or infuses its players with a sense of morality.
Infamous will gain a wider audience, but I had more fun playing Proto"

"vor,
Why even comment before you've even played Prototype? Why not give it 2 weeks after the release of Prototype so many people can get into the late-game, and really dissect the differences in polish and focus for each product?
"The thing that really propelled Infamous over Prototype was that it managed to one-up Prototype..." - you haven't even played Prototype, you shouldn't be posting sentences like this. You are reviewing other people's reactions without experiencing first-hand 50% of the gameplay that drives them.
I would've thought that Bitmob would edit posts a bit more harshly than this. I love the "community journalism" idea, but please keep the content of a high journalistic level.
I've spent about 6-8 hrs with each game. Infamous is well polished, it has a great visual style, and is a great exclusive for PS3. It is a great entry-level game for people not familiar with open-world 3d action. I wish there were more varied gangs than just the Reapers, though I hear from friends there are several different enemy Conduits, which is what I really wanted.
Prototype is like a John Carpenter film in game form. It is lacking production value in places (Alex's face, who the hell got paid to 3d model that?!) but it surprises you with how edgy and fun it becomes once you give in to it. The violence is extreme, up there with Ninja Gaiden 2, and that is GREAT. The movement is really a revelation, the feeling of freedom akin to when you played the first Spider-Man game on Xbox, only moreso. Grabbing someone, sprinting up the walls of the tallest building you can find and then throwing them off the roof as hard as you can, makes me cackle with glee time and time again. Your character is basically Carnage from Spider-Man conveniently located in a different IP. Morphing biomass and all.
The difficulty in Prototype ramps up a little much during some plot elements (4 Apache helicopters can be hell to deal with) and this will frustrate a lot of players. While this also occurs in Infamous and many other 3D action games (I go back to NG2 again), it is still enough to change the game from a buy to a rental for a lot of people.
How long the fun lasts in either of these games will be more apparent in a few weeks time, just as it did with Saints Row 2 and Crackdown. It all depends on what people want from their open worlds. Some like Saints Row 2, some like GTA4. Some like Ninja Gaiden, some like Devil May Cry. Many like all of these examples.
So try both of these games, they are both great for a rental/borrow. There is also plenty there to fall in love with, and persuade you to"

"s video stops streaming at about 20 secs just in front of the THQ booth, and I just reinstalled Flash to the latest version.
Is anyone else getting similar issues?
It is quite annoying because I want to see why Relic chose the Ultramarines. If they are going to fight the Tyranids on Ultramar that could be good, but otherwise really not an interesting chapter. Almost worse than Blood Ravens in previous games.
And why go with this format of game? And why not have color palette option in Army Painter in DoW2? Is THQ taking more editorial control of content?
Argh one of my favourite development houses?! I must find a way to w"
