"For players who are curious:

"Thick red skin" is a regular-level Oni with resistance to all four elemental attacks.

"Soothing ice" is a healer-type Silky you can't summon until level 24 (I think).

"Prophecy of wind" is a Mothman with ridiculously high Magic and Agility, and an all-type wind attack. If you can level this demon to match yours, it crushes anything that has a weakness to wind attacks. Easily the best of the bunch.

All that thrown into a huge, wide-open world (the entire playable world of Ancaria was one big top-down bitmap--no loading except for larger dungeons.) The best Diablo clone I've played. Period. Hopefully the sequel manages to capture that very same es"

"tastic insight, Jasmine. You may have just dissuaded me from picking up the portable versions of FF7 and SotN; two of my favorite games of all time. I hate glitch frustrations. Good thing I still have my original PS1 copies, as well as my trusty ol' PS2. Whaddya' say to that, eh whippersnapper? [shakes"
