"Interesting article and one that compelled me to put in my two cents. Two games great games are: Divinity 2: Ego Draconis, and the Elder Scrolls games.

Divinity 2 not only had a great plotline that was full of twists and turns right up to the end, but it had above average characterization. You can connect with virtually all the characters, even the Antagonist.

The plot in oblivion was simple: There's an evil wizard trying to take over the world using the power of a magic imbued upon the emporer. You have to stop him. Of course to boil down the entire plot to two sentences does it no justice other than to say it's a unique twist on a cliche plot.

And that's just the main plot. There are also four other plots in the four guilds. I particularly loved that the characters, animals, and all the scattered bits of info that really make the world feel like it it's more than just a video game."
