Some times this works perfectly (Crackdown) unfortunately with Starcraft it's a really old game (1998!), so I go online forgetting that the only community that would be playing are the cult players who play every day. I join a match labeled "N00Bs OnlY 1v1" as I'm playing (casually making buildings and whatnot) my opponent makes a base right next to me and destroys my base. Me being the n00b I am, I run to another crystal mine and rebuild my hacher and start over. He eventually finds me and the cycle repeats itself.
It goes with out saying that I lost. I want the guest pass so i can play several online games with people who are just as new to the game as I am and maybe justify spending the obscene amount of money that new australian games cost."
