"This is a great post. I like to look at the FF series as an old friend. If you have known someone for a really long time (in this case, 20 years) you will inevitably watch them grow and change as a person. And you really can't blame them for changing. Change is something that time simply demands and few can stop. The same way we, as people, must grow, adapt and change, I feel that FF games should be allowed to be different with each entry in the series. Sure, we'll all have our favorite memories, just like we might have that favorite memory of how things used to be with our friends. But just because things aren't exactly how they used to be doesn't mean you shouldn't immediately hate on it. I feel as though if people tried really hard to enjoy each game for what it was instead of constantly comparing it to older entries, they would find that they enjoy it much more."

"t of why I no longer shop at Gamestop is because they pushed used, yes. But more importantly I don't go there anymore because all three store locations near me seem to be incapable of hiring employees that know a damn thing about the products they are selling.
Example:
little kid: Excuse me? Do you have Drawn to Life for the DS?
gamestop employee: Uh... I think so. Let me look it up... (looks it up for five minutes) Uh... sorry we don't have any games called "John to Life" for the PSP.
I know this could have just been a mistake, but for the most part, the employees just seem clueless about anything that they aren't currently taking pre-order"
