"Advertising is a tricky, tricky thing. There are more loopholes for companies to get out of complaints than for customers to actually receieve compensation and satisfaction. I have seen these bundles myself and they are moderately misleading, but I often assume anything with AT&T on it will ask me to pay for it first.

"I'm waiting to hear back from Acitivsion on this, but there will be new shipments of Skylanders. many of the figures are getting re-released, some in unusual forms. You can now own a regular Chop Chop, legendary Chop Chop, or gold or silver Chop Chop. Each one has a different stat set, but fundementally work the same.
There was a timed release on many of the figures, and a lot of retailer specific toys are now very hard to find. I hope in the coming months that Activision will rectify this.
The figures are pretty much guaranteed sellers now, so they'd be crazy not to manufacture more. "
