"Great piece. Never played Alone in the Dark, but this does a great job of describing what playing it was like. And man, that ending!

When i first clicked the link, I thought you were going to be talking about the Cthulhu PC game, which is pretty unsettling in its own right.

And I loved you describing the bit about the characters sanity in Lovecraft fiction. Almost everything that draws a license or inspiration from his works reference the idea of something so inconcivable that the human mind breaks at the sight of it. It was one of my favorite bits about his work."

"Once again, I am the muse for Mitchell's bitmob articles.

There's no excuse for online co-op not to be included in XBLA games if couch co-op is present. Yes, playing games with your buddy next to you is awesome; so is playing a game with your buddy over Live. Hell, I've played single player games while talking to people on Live and it's still been awesome (Dead Rising 2: Case Zero for instance). And now that the restriction on the memory size of Arcade games has been lifted (it was a pretty dumb idea in the first place) there's no good reason to leave things like online co-op out."

"^ That's because you're not too bright

Pretty good comic. The art was way better than I was expecting. I had to look at the MMO screen alittle while to see what all was there, but it would have been easier at a higher resolution. All in all, pretty good."

"Great piece. I remember that night. We played that map for 90 minutes, he's not joking. And don't buy this to play by yourself. It's tuned for four players. This will be even harder than playing Rush against a team full of level 50 players (something Mitch and I have also done.)

And I gotta agree with your thoughts. It's amazing how they took Battlefield's gameplay and flipped it on it's head. The only problem I have is that the points go unused. Granted, I play a ton of Rush/Conquest so my kit's not hurting for unlocks, but it would have been a nice option to allow people to rank up in Onslaught, if even only for that mode. But that's a small complaint, and one that's quickly forgotten when trying to prevent a huge A.I push."
