"@Demian Linn - I just played through the shower scene for the 32nd time, and you're right, it is gratuitous ;)
@Rachel - All joking aside, I agree with you, Madison isn't really a like-able character. For me it wasn't so much the shower scene, it's that fact that this woman helped and tried to -- (i removed the rest of my comment, it was too spoiler-y. Let's just say that she has questionable morals).

"First of all, that shower scene was totally NOT gratuitous. Trust me, I've played through that scene about 30+ times and it was very tasteful. Also, taking a shower is completely optional, YOU decided that Madison should take a shower. Now, I don't know what else you could have made her do, because I always choose the shower, but surely you could have just had her read a magazine or wash her face or check her email. Taking a shower was merely one of the things you could have directed her to do, so in reality, it was you who wanted to turn this scene into a skin flick. Let's not blame the developers for giving you EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANTED. All I'm saying is that there are plenty of options for Madison in that scene, and even the guy who's playing the game with his girlfriend - who hates gratuitous nudity in games - chose to get naked in the shower."
