FRAG is hosting another classic console tournament, the Retro Gamer Challenge, Saturday, July 23rd from 2PM to 11PM (ET). Tons of classic games will be available to play. Surrounding the main tournament will be a day full of side challenges and contests. Tickets are just $15 (but only $10 if you order in advance).

"I started playing Farmville because a few really good friends of mine needed help. I ended up exploring the entire social gaming experience for six months and even made a few cool friends, but in the end, I'd rather play console or PC games instead of the newest version of Bejeweled lol"

"I've recently had issues with my 360 not playing just one game Mortal Kombat. Called xbox support and they wanted me to troubleshoot for 2 hours, stuff that I'd do anyway. I don't want to ramble so I'll just say "sorry man"."

"It's an Arcade 360 that's probably about 1.5 to 2 years old. I'm having issues playing anything on disc that's rather new like Black-Ops and Super Street Fighter 4. My d/l games like Pac-Man CEDX and Shoot 1up are playing just fine so I'm guessing it's either what you're talking about or Microsoft didn't tighten something well enough during construction."

"I'm 33 and have a Dreamcast P.S.O. poster hanging next to my Mortal Kombat Arcade machine and next to that is a poster with a ton of Zelda items/characters on it that I think came from an issue of E.G.M. I don't care what people think when they see these things because I love gaming, the history of video games and its community. Damn, that might be why I have no girlfriend right now =P"

"I've tried 3 copies of Mortal Kombat (9) in my 360 today and not one of them would play until the New South Park began - Figures right. Thought it might just be my 360 or the game at first and then I read this. Thanks for the input, I'll have to have Microhard check my 360 to see if I'm one of the "lucky" 10,000. Funny that you mention the marketing leak on MW3 because the girl at my local Gamestop couldn't stop answering the phone without talking about it. When asked, she said that the three stores in the area have taken on over 100 reservations each for the title and the leak isn't a week old. Pretty sure MW3 will be in the new Guinness Gamers Editon next year for "most sales of a video game in the fastest time"."
