Dammit! Soooo clooose!
Like, another month? Army of Two got pushed back, why couldn't Scribblenauts?! I want to love that game so badly, but every time I pop it in I am reminded of why I took it out. If only it had gotten the controls right then we'd have little to complain about.

The home console environment is dominated by larger publishers and stock AAA-games, leaving no room for potential greatness to be unleashed by the little guy. Is the portable gaming market the future for smaller publishers and developers?

The premise behind Scribblenauts seems amazing when you first read or hear about it. Type anything, make it appear, and solve puzzles in any way that you see fit? Fantastic! The controls, however, are so bad that they dealt a serious blow to any attempt to like the game.

Scribblenauts is a fairly new game that came out for the Nintendo DS, with a rather large amount of hype (at least for me). The concept of the game is to solve puzzles in levels with the limitations of your creativity. In other words, the selling point was that you could do whatever you wanted. Unfortunately, the hype train crashed and burned.
