"going to stand up for Tidus here. I would claim that he is far from the typical whiny stereotype; he is positive and outgoing, he adapts quickly to a frankly bizarre series of events and he finds it easy to meet with and get to know new people including those who, at first distrust or dislike him. His only real social or emotional issues revolve around his relationship with his abusive father. Considering his father's role within the narrative I consider the entire point of the game to be Tidus overcoming those issues. Its something almost everyone can identify with which is why I believe Tidus to be a standout RPG hero rather than a traditional stereotype. Good post by the way. Early indications that FFXIII is striped back, fast paced and linear, all of which sound good"

"personal favourite: "I'll kick you to sleep" from the original. I killed more enemies in a single playthrough of Uncharted 2 than I did in Gears 2. It'"
