"I've been playing it more than I expected. I like Tribes 2 a lot more but Ascend is free and it's something new. Not sure that video is too fast of a cap. Guess it's safer to take the long way but going up the middle is fast and easier. I've noticed hitting objects like rocks can propel you into the air nicely. I can't figure out disc jumping; maybe it's just not very useful in this game like it was in T2. Although I've done some capping, lately I've just been playing the soldier class and dueling a lot."

"I've never played any of these (too much Nintendo :). I did know which franchise #3 was from but didn't know which game exactly."

"I'd guess their choices were limited. They probably needed work and it was Bethesda's property they were making a game with so it wasn't something they could shop around. There was a Brian Fargo interview a few weeks ago where he commented on this. He was talking about how much control publishers have when it comes to getting bugs fixed as well as how they tend to take over voice acting completely, not even allowing the developers to communicate with the actors. I believe he was implying that publishers are responsible for the Metacritic score as well and the developers in this case were getting the shaft."

"BioWare uses a lot of the same actors in their games so I'm always recognizing voices between their RPGs. I know I heard SW The Old Republic's Kira Carsen (Laura Bailey) in Mass Effect 3 somewhere and Jennifer Hale is in SWTOR as the female commando. The always recognizable Keith David has done a lot of video game voice work, including the Interplay RPGs Planescape and Fallout."

"Although the game didn't require it, I slaughtered chickens in Skyrim. I found it to be a quick and easy way to fill soul gems while I was working on improving my enchanting skill."

"I've got a game on the Commodore 64 called Barbarian that has beheadings. Not a lot of blood, just a spurt. After each victory some sort of gremlin creature walks across the screen to remove the body. If you won on a beheading he kicks the head. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=14ORMf6SjTc#t=86s"

"Just looked it up. Apparently it didn't officially support it but you are correct that it will work with some tweaking. I don't think I ever used the adapter. The only game I remember trying online was ChuChu Rocket and that was with dialup, and I know I got destroyed."

"Perhaps the most useless item I own is the Sega Dreamcast Broadband Adapter. If I recall, I bought it with the intention of playing Phantasy Star Online but then it didn't support broadband. Only a few games actually work with it."

"I went ahead and got all four Wii Remote jackets! I only own two remotes though and I've never used the jackets."

"I'm a Khajiit and haven't noticed too much love from anyone but other than the caravan guys I've not noticed too many other Khajiit. They don't call me cat like so many humans do though, and I think a lot of NPCs view all Khajiit as thieves. In Dragon Age: Origins you do get some different responses from people based on your race and the opening origin stories for each one are great."

"I wish I'd gone with light armor. I've logged a ridiculous 95 hours so far and found you do get some cool light armor but no heavy armor from quests. I know I can switch and sometimes I do wear the Nightengale armor but I put so many perks into heavy armor and there is no way to take them back. Ended up maxing out blacksmithing and making myself a set of heavy dragon armor, though you can also make light armor out of dragon parts. Although I can stand up to just about any melee attack, I've been sneaking around and using the bow more lately. As much as I love the game I could do with some smaller dungeons. They've started to wear me down and I'm finally not searching every dead body and urn, even though I feel compelled to."

"I got my first HDTV this year for $599.99 and it's 42". It doesn't have 3D but I still think Sony's display is priced too high. Also got my first LCD monitor recently and it's the same size as this Sony display. Again, no 3D, and it's not a television, but after a sale and rebate it was only $140. I know 3D adds to a price, though I'd guess $300-400 would be more reasonable compared to other televisions."
