And if i do, I'll at least have access to vehicles and a medic :P "
As for the character models, I dunno. Street Fighter, we have women whose thighs could squeeze a rhino to death and essentialy fight in their lingerie (Chun Li and Cammy). I never understood how this equally tawdry art style doesn't get penalized when Mortal Kombat's does.
The boss fights is another point that I was making; every fighting game has those bone-crunchingly frustrating bosses. But you don't see Street Fighter or Blazblue being punished for those, so why should Mortal Kombat.
I'm not asking IGN to take it easy on Mortal Kombat; I'm asking them to show consistency.
Oh and another note, you managed to snap your TV remote in half?! I tried to do that from Devil May Cry 3's final boss and ended up looking like a giant wuss when I broke a fingernail . . . "
Anyone besides me think that Shadowloo sounds like Satan's toilet?
I'm just trying to say that most of Mortal Kombat's "problems" aren't really problems; they are kinks that are present in the fighting genre and/or part of Mortal Kombat's style. I'm glad there's a couple more Mortal Kombat fans out there!"
Even Modern Warfare had that ONE Russian source that helped them. Eventually one of the scientists helps you in Black Ops.
But it almost seems to say that "Hey, there's at least ONE good guy right?". I think their intentions are correct in showing a Korean support character that assists the player, but I don't think it's effective. Also, my contention is more that the enemy is dehumanized more than Americans are overly emphasized you know?
Thank you though, it's good to know that they did try!"
Also, thank you for your comments about Black Hawk Down on my article on war games. I'd hate to imporperly reference a movie that is only there to celebrate heroism in the line of fire :)"
