"t a great decade we've had for games, particularly action-adventure. Lots of good ones that didn't come up... personally, Prince of Persia: the Sands of Time was my first thought. It's really fun, has the most charmingly told story I've ever played in a video game, and is the very obvious precursor to the wonderful Assassin's Creed games we're playing now.
I probably do love Metal Gear Solid 3 and Shadow of the Colossus more, though, if I was asked. MGS 3 is perfect in my mind.
And Portal!! What do we classify that as? :D Still excellent, probably my favorite game of all"

I reviewed the game earlier this week and gave it a 5.0. Everything about it evens out to average, IMO. even though it kind of sucks, exploring the Dharma stations is cool.
Also, I checked it out of the library so I didn't pay to play it. That probably has a lot to do with my rosy view on the matter. :P
