Criterion
by Stan Rezaee, COMMUNITY WRITER
The Criterion Collection is well known for the restoration of classic films. With gaming having become a part of pop-culture; there is a demand for classic games that are at times unavailable. This is a logical look at why the Criterion Collection should take an interest at the restoration of iconic video games.

Metal Slug is an arcade classic of the best kind of fun: Shooting Nazis in an over the top arcade game. I hate sauerkraut anyway.

Super Sidekicks trades in realism for the arcade pleasure that made the Neo Geo dominate. This is true for both the PS3 and PSP version available on the Neo Geo Station.

Being a child of the 70s and 80s I had fond memories of arcades and the early video game console scene. That is just one of the many reasons I am very excited for the launch of Game Room on the Xbox 360! Game Room comes to a 360 dashboard near you Wednesday, March 23, 2010! Time to trade your quarters in for Microsoft Points!

One is a new player from NorCal, loving the SoCal scene and interested in a new challenge. The other is an established name in the Blazblue community. Both participate in the first ranked battle I've ever covered at Arcade Infinity, one of the most hardcore arcades I've ever been to.

Dark Presence and its sequel, Conquering Light, are two upcoming titles from developer Galloping Ghost. Both are classic 1-vs.-1 2D fighters specifically for arcades, but perhaps more notable is that they use digitized characters.
