I had the pleasure and privilege of attending a press screening for Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World and this is my review. As a life long gamer, I was happy to see a lot of authentic nods to my favorite games of yore. The movie excels at creating a slick real life comic game. It's everything a geek would want in a film.

New Zealand radio host Michael Laws did a segment about violent video games; focusing on Modern Warfare 2's "No Russian" mission. He claims the censorship system let us down, that the R18 game is bad for children and shared some bigotry opinions of gamers. This article wonders why mainstream media have a double standard when it games to judging games against other forms of entertainment. Also, perhaps the problem is the definition used for the word "entertainment".
