Level design is perfect, the power ups are wittier than ever, and the 3D effect is superfluous. 3D Land is the sole reason why you should own a 3DS.

With every Nintendo platform, a new version of Mario Kart will always be present. In the latest addition to the franchise, Mario Kart returns to the 3DS triumphantly, adding some new tracks and a neat additions.

Assassin’s Creed Revelations marks the fourth installment in the franchise that concludes the tale of Ezio and Altair in epic proportion. Despite suffering from both new and old ideas, for instance Den Defense and the boring adventure of Desmond, it is still a thrilling ride from beginning to end.

The year after year Madden franchise would seemingly have to be very addictive. However, this year, the series seemed to have taken a turn for the worst. Madden 12 houses more problems and bugs than improvement and innovation. The game is one giant step backwards, when I expected them to be moving the opposite.

“Here we go again.” Nathan Drake is back in an all new thrilling masterpiece that is a complete joy to play from start to finish. Uncharted 3 is the sole reason why I own a PlayStation 3. It such a fun and engaging game. My only complaint is where is the sequel?

Despite the lack of length and challenge, Super Mario 3D Land is the most enjoyable instalment in the storied series in quite some time. A new dimension coupled with a master class in level design make for a compelling argument for 3DS ownership.
