"The smart money says you're right, Justin. Still...just in case. :)"

"Of course, just because a film is greenlit and has a director attached doesn't mean it will definitely get made. This may all be a moot point by the end. But yes, let us celebrate the lack of Uwe."

"Yeah, that's fair. A re-arrangement wouldn't be out of the question. But I want those melodies -- and more importantly, that tone and feeling -- retained."

"Sorry about the blurry cell-phone pics. I didn't have a better camera on me. But thanks for reading! :)"

"Kirby's Adventure had an excellent soundtrack. You do indeed win, sir.

I'm less familiar with Turbo Grafx games (and this list was specifically about the NES), but I'll have to check it out. "

"I came to Borderlands long after its initial release, so I didn't have a chance to play much of it cooperatively with anyone. But I still fell in love with the game. I'm very much NOT a loot-whore -- games like Diablo, Torchlight, or even WoW hold little interest for me -- but I was surprised at how quickly Borderlands' action grabbed me. Yeah, it's repetitive...but I still dug it."

"By the way, the title of this piece is partially inspired by Bitmobber Alex Martin's "Unoriginal Soundtracks" podcast, which collects a playlist of songs tangentially related to the themes or emotions of a particular video game. Highly recommended. http://www.cerebralpop.com/search/label/Unoriginal%20Soundtracks"
