"Haha, I like this. I did always feel a bit like I was being pushed forward when I played it.
And don't forget, that because of the invisible wall of doom, if you ever made it OVER the flag... well then you just had to keep running and running, unable to turn back and finish the level, requiring a restart, lol.
Fun article!"

"at post Frank. I too am an ex employee, an ex-assistant manager for GameStop. These three suggestions actually do a big number on GameStop; more than most people would think.
In the year I worked for them, GS's policies changed a whole bunch and each time they did, the main reason was because of complaints from customers. Granted GS's perception of the problems sent in are much different, so the changes made either didn't actually fix anything or, sometimes, made it worse.
If enough people complain in a nice and orderly fashion, things will change for sure. The big wigs are too obsessed with making money to deny their customers what they want.
One last note. Please remember that every single employee in every single GameStop store, including the managers, are very strictly bound to specific rules of conduct. The reason one of them is breathing on your neck as you look at the wall is because if they don't, the get reprimanded. The reason they ask you three times to sign up for the magazine is literally because they are forced to do so. The reason they offer you $5 for you awesome new game is because the computer makes them... So please just remember that. It is the corporation as a whole that is causing it, the employee's are not being mean or unfair to you, they are simply the messengers. And like Frank said, the surveys will only affect that specific store, NOT GameStop p"

", thanks for the comic! I'm not innocent when it comes to some of the achievements, but I try to limit them to the ones I think are fun to get. When I have time to play that is, right now all I can play is Dragon Age....
BUT THERE ARE ACHIEVEMENTS THERE TOO!!! OH NOES!!! I just can't get away from them, guess I'll go seduce another teammate and get the whore achievement now.
Can't wait for the next one"

** Possible Spoiler **
Did you know if you supply your armies in your camp with money, gems, runes, and roots you'll gain a bunch of XP? Well now you do! It comes in handy, plus it also makes your armies better at the end of the g"

"hink it has more to do with the modder's tastes than anything else. There happened to be a lot of modders that got into modding because of Half-Life. First Person is what they are used to when it comes to making a mod. More people will branch out soon enough. Morrowind, Neverwinter, and Warcraft all had massive mod followings and they paved the way for Fallout 3 and Oblivion.
Once I'm done playing Dragon Age I'll definitely give the tool set a strong go. The options they have given and the technology available far surpasses what is available now in most game mod tool sets.
Full camera control, lip sinking tools to use your own added voices, source code to mess with, easy model importing and modifying, and the complex scripting controls make for endless possibilities! Full camera control being the most important IMO. I wouldn't be surprised if the mods we start seeing for Dragon Age are far superior to most games that will be coming out. I'm sure everyone will get many sweet years of game play out of this"

"son Whoa there tiger! I'm not about to go and say you are wrong about the fair being dull. It is true, there are parts that are dull about it.
**SPOILERS BELOW STOP READING IF YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED THIS GAME**
However, what I do want to point out though is that the whole time you are at the fair you are making a lot of choices as I'm sure you know. Choices that affect the game later on and the designers do it in a brilliant way by just letting you be who you are. They find out if you are impatient, if you are a thief, if you are rude to people you don't know, etc. They are finding out the choices you make when not directly given a choice, and that is brilliant design!! The fair wasn't there to be all that fun, it was there discover more about the player. Plus, the fair isn't actually a long part to get through. You can get through it faster than most unskippable cut-scenes in other"

As for Sony's NGP... well... I wish they'd take out all the useless bells and whistles... I don't need a rear touch pad, I don't need six-axis motion control, I don't need GPS, I don't need 3G capability.... What I need is a sweet system that plays amazing looking games at high resolution, dual analog sticks (thx sony), wifi for multi-player, and a long battery life. The rest of that crap is useless, taking up space, and is making the system cost WAY more than it should."
