"this is some high quality stuff. I never watched the 1UP Show but I have heard it's praises and if it is anything like this, I completely understand why now. At any rate, I am highly intrigued by Plants vs Zombies now, I probably never would have looked at a video of it other"

"not against digital distribution by any means. I love the XBLA and PSN store and have bought numerous titles from each. With that said, I don't like the idea of having a download as the only form of owning something. Especially with the DRM policies of Sony and Microsoft. I think Steam is a fantastic platform for delivering digital media. I actually don't mind buying full games on Steam because I have no fear of losing them if, say, I format my computer or somet"

"hink the factor that elevates games like Gears or Killzone or Halo is their multiplayer component. Do those games have linear stories, yeah, straight as an arrow, but after you are done with the story you can go online and play for hundreds of hours with various match types and levels. With an RPG, once you finish it, it is not likely you will ever pick it up again. That's why RPGs like Fallout and Oblivion are praised because their open world and lack of structure makes the perceived longevity much longer. I am a fan of JRPGs, I actually just got around to finishing FF XII last week and I had played Dragon Quest VIII when it came out and I loved it. I also plan on getting the new Devil Summoner game, though it is somewhat different from the traditional JRPG. I don't mind a linear story at all, in fact I welcome it. The problem I have with games like Oblivion and even the FF series is my completion rate is next to zero. I feel a need to do everything possible, so unless I am told to move along, I won't progress. I do think JRPGs are getting a bad rap recently but that's mostly due to the lackluster titles that have been coming out in the genre. Look at Infinite Undiscovery or Enchanted Arms or Blue Dragon...all these mediocre games are hiding the real gems, like the Persona series and Lost Od"

"ust bought Crackdown, used, at a Hollywood Video store a month ago. I had beat it when it originally came out but at 7 bucks it was too good of a deal to pass up. My roommate then ended up and going and buying it just so we could play co-op in it. I agree 100% that the Fable 2 co-op should have been exactly like this, with the ability to use your own character and free roam wherever you want without being tied to the other person. Then I bought the DLC for it, just so I could play Rocket Tag, which is such a blast to"

"ike getting achievements if they make you play the game in a new way or do something that you ordinarily wouldn't have. I too have King Kong on my roster but that was played during the initial 360 launch when there weren't a whole lot of games out, and I'd say it was worth the rental. Call of Duty 2 was another fairly easy one to max out...but I've never gone out and rented kids games, or Superman games, for the p"
