If I can save the world in 30 hours that would be nice. 60 hours and I'm buying a turbo controller to button mash my way into the credits. Even if it's a decision based rpg.

"I honestly haven't played a Sonic game seriously since Sonic 2. I feel the same way towards the Secret of Mana series."

"I actually enjoyed it thoroughly, it represents everything Street Fighter is, plus the special moves were well represented. I even enjoyed the giant eyebrows, because if your like me and spent lots of time in the 90's playing Street Fighter II and everything that came out after it, it's the giant eyebrows on Ryu and Ken.

The one exception is the "high five". I come from a Taekwondo background and there's no way you do a flying side kick from stationary position to attack someone, not only that, it doesn't even look cool!  Now if they ran full speed and went into flying side kicks, and connected at the same time and ended the film at that, that would look better in my opinion, but I'm no fight choreographer.

Other than that, it was awesome!"

"I complete agree with your opinion, Erik. I'm one of those gamers who started at the age of 5 with an NES and worked my way up. I don't log as much time on Wii because to the more experienced gamer, it does seem a little bit of a novelty albeit the AAA titles are geared to us "hardcore" gamers for sure. The fact that everyone in the so-called casual demographic bought into it further proves your point. I just wish there was less shovelware, because that's what a lot the 3rd parties have been putting out lately."

"nks for the comments. I admit that I respect Tidus more at endgame given all that happen but the whistling and laughing thing. I also think that since Tidus and Ratchet both share the same voice actor could actually be the reason for my"

"gree with most everything you said except for what was said about the Psyche meter in Metal Gear Solid 4. I never burned out the Psyche meter. I killed and I killed and I killed and then I killed some more and never had it go to where Snake would get his "high" and then go into "withdrawal". I feel that the Psyche meter is more realistic, if, as "gamers", we look for realism. In high stress situations one's psyche is put under duress, and a certain point, one may not be able to coup with that stress. If I was trying to sneak into a warzone and was discovered and came under fire, I would think that my psyche would not do so well; so if Snake's Psyche meter were to dip due to high stress situations, I can totally understand that. I really do not think you are punishing players with the Psyche meter. It gave another variable that you, as the player, had to be aware of and manage. In the search of realism in video games, how many times have you seen the silent protagonist with the perfect aim? Too many times. It is this way, I do not feel that the Psyche meter punished the player, but rather made the game a little more realistic, as the hero, (Snake) was no longer perfect and more human with his Psyche m"

"ething to add to this is the fact that Sony likes to invest in different media storage devices and has failed before. The UMD in a way, is the newer version of the MD. The MD never exploded onto the market the way Sony wanted it to. The market for MDs, and Cds for that matter, was then gutted by the mp3. The same goes for UMDs. Digital Distribution gutted UMDs much in the way mp3s gutted CDs. The PSP's UMD drive is slow to load, UMDs do not carry as much data and special features as a standard DVD does with respects to movies, and in today's day and age of the incredible shrinking electronic device, the UMD Drive, the discs, take up some some s"
