"ian- I gotta say its practically as long as a full fledged title. If its not rushed through that is. You do get the value for money if you haven't bought all the maps on Halo 3. You cant in no way shape or form complain about the graphics though. In the early developement they said that it wasnt going to be updated for this title. They specified what they were doing and what it was going to be, anyone with false hopes about it being more than that have only their selves to blame. Your paying for 4 things. 1: the expansion 2: the multiplayer 3: the maps 4: for the chance to play the beta If you have all the maps then I agree that its a little big dear but TBH I think the price is justified more on ODST that on 80% of the full retail crap games that you can pay £35/£40 ($60/$75"

"ian- I do agree that its not your conventional Halo game and no chief there does make a difference to peoples views. I also do know that wars are not fought by one person. I love the chief as much as the next guy but it was nice to see bungie try something different. This only an expansion though, an addition to the halo experience not a full updated game. You point out its flaws and that it aint an updated engine, its an expansion. If Halo reach isnt updated then complain but you know what it is before you buy it. I think the majority of your criticisms are unwarranted cause you have looked at the game in the wrong light. You can point the flaws from a game thats an update because your judging as a full retail game that has had years of development not an extension of an experience by a few loose members of a normally large"

"ersonally found the experience very different and that was a good thing. Funny thing is that 1 of the characters is in halo3 too. I disagree with the voice acting better the acting that was there by seasoned actors that have worked together. I think you tried to get the same experience from ODST that you have from every halo game, going in with preconceptions of gameplay and other features and comparing them to the other games. You should judge it like you have never played a halo game b"

"the people complaining about it not being a full game already knew it wasnt a full game to begin with. I think its great what they have done and a great game. I just with people could see how much effort goes into these things. I think its a buy and if you havent done much of the online play on halo3 (like me) and no longer have halo 3 then its good. Even if you already have halo3 then ODST can be a great game if you play it properly and not try and rush throug"

"thisismyjoystick.com we found that people pay no attention to the writing and we also found that people look at a score before anything. What we did was use a BUY, TRY and AVOID scoring. Metacritic says "if there is no score they take from the review and then we will formulate a score based on the text" (or something to that effect). We contacted them, their exact words were "your style doesn't suit our site" We break a review down and justify everything, we highlight all the points i.e. what its about, gameplay, graphics, sound and have a conclusion yet they seem to think we aint good enough. What's even better is that our reviews justify games and look at them with open eye more than the average review system. Half of the reviews on there fall to the sucking off the developer cause they gave us an exclusive. I think metacritic aint good enough for my site. They are useless and they don't accurately score the games. Personally i think that they make up a score based on whether the guy sorting it likes the g"

"vid Zhuo I agree to some extent. L4D is going to have 4 new characters and new levels to which I believe the majority are in daytime. New enemies and new weapons including chainsaws and axes. I can understand why they are releasing it so soon, it does make some sense. I think people are complaining because its not going to be cheap or free. I don't think its going to bring massive changes but I do believe that it will be worth the price, if noting more L4D has replay value. @Bryan Harper How is Halo a fail?! for one thing it has 4 titles available, its sold more copies than Gears has for obvious reasons. If it was such a big 'fail' do you not think Microsoft would have dropped the title by now instead of releasing another 2 titles ;D If Gears was such a fantastic game why is it full of glitches and errors?! It could be a fair to say Gears 2 was rushed into publishing! I suppose if you like waiting up to 20 minutes to get in a multiplayer match then that game is for y"

"ant believe that Raychul compared Gears to Halo and called Halo a fail. They are completely different styles of games, for one thing the co-op campaign experience was better on Halo as you would play with up to 3 of your mates an oversight that was not added to Gears 2. Horde on Gears was ok but dulled the experience of the game in general, making it a repetitive experience (one you didn't want to repeat after hitting level 50). As for Gears being a better game I think that's a wrong assumption, for one thing the multiplayer works on Halo, the same cannot be said for Gears. Gears 2 has more bugs and glitches in it than you should get in a big named title. I would say that it all bottles down to choice. Halo and Gears are both excellent games but the multiplayer experience on Halo is far superior than that of Gears who quite clearly went in a direction that made it not live up to the reputation of the first game. Its fair to say that Borderlands is definitely a good pick for a co-op game and if the game lives up to the hype that its building then its going to be a brilliant experience. Raychul Picked a good choice with Left 4 Dead 2 and if Valve continue to support L4D and release new content then they will please the fans of the first game possibly swaying them to gain an added pleasure from the second release. Hopefully this will make the 2 games two completely different experi"

"ple need to get a life, who cares what consoles they release on. Fanboys need to grow up and smell the coffee beans. They did the same thing with FFXIII. I love all the 'I wont buy it anymore you have betrayed us' like they think that kojima will care. These people need to get out alot more and stop living in a fantasy world. My message to them is 'its a game, gro"
