I have yet to see a 2D side scrolling game do this in a full game. Really Mario did in maybe once or twice, but not ever during a full game. Of course if Mario can't do it in a full game then no one else will either.
What I am talking about is in stead of going from left to right on the screen. Why can't there be a full 2d Side scrolling game from right to left? Will it mess with your mind when your jumping? It just brings up lots of questions on why there is not one made like this.
Over the years games have found it fun that every once and awhile a level would be backwards as some people call it. What do you all think about a whole game going from right to left?

I know that most Western languages are read from left to right. What about Japanese? Is that read left to right? Perhaps it is a cultural thing. We should see if any Jewish people who make 2D games have their characters going from right to left!
I don't know any Jews that've made right-to-left games, but I wonder if any Flash games made by Israelis has right-to-left sidescrolling.
My point was that we read left to right, so our 2D games do the same. Hebrew reads right to left, as does Arabic I believe, so perhaps their games do the opposite?
