A 360 Case Mod So Classy It Needs a Monocle

Compared to your sleek PS3, surround sound set up, and cutting edge HDTV, the Xbox 360 is positively...uncultured. The shape is too rounded and clearly too functional. Don't you wish you could change it?

Thanks to Swedish designers Industri Repro, the future of a sleek and sexy 360 could be at hand. Could be because production of the case mod isn't in the works, and making your own would call for a lot of heavy machinery [via Technabob]:

Now that's a console that screams classy. I bet it would mock your thousand-plus dollar home theatre set up simply because there was a more expensive one out there.

I like the more uniform look, but it also looks like it's substantially larger than the typical Xbox.

I would have also liked to see them pull the 'circle' out, and replace it with four lateral LEDs. It wouldn't look like an Xbox anymore, but it would look a lot nicer.

This pales in comparison to the recent casemod video that I saw on Engadget. Sure, not totally video game related, but he at least mods an original Xbox devkit.

Oooh, I kinda want this one.

And I agree with Jon #1: The ring looks out of place.

It looks like they set a box on top of a 360 with a tinted glass panel on the front.

What happens when you get the RROD?

@Rich An English gentleman with an actual monocle pops out and offers you a spot of tea while you sit on hold with customer support.
