The title is miss leading as I only watched one of my daughters play this game for five minutes. After pleading for her to down load this demo while I continue to play Disney's G-Force on the PS3 she gave in. After she started I gave her five minutes to show me everything she could pull off about this game while I watched from a distance.
First up she showed me the three characters you could be. There are two male characters and one female character. One of the cool things about this is how you can interchange who you want to be in the menu's. So if you want to change characters before a fight then you can do so.
Even though the graphics are cartoony I still love them. This shows me that you don't need to be realistic to make a great game. With the different textures of colors this game will shine as a sleeper this fall in my book. So I give major props to the Art team and there work here as it is good at least for me.
As the land was vast and had many places to scower. It reminds me that people still love to make great adventure games. One of the many things my daughter wanted to show me was how to get across water. Really I thought this was a neat concept as well and works for the game. It just amazes me how big the land looks and feels just watching someone play. No the trailers don't do the landscape justice.
I didn't see any camera problems so far in the five minutes of watching. With that being said there may be some that I am not aware of. Then again what game does not have a camera issue every know and then.
As far as fighting goes it was not in my five minutes of watching. However from the other room all I heard was great comments on how I should be watching this. When the PS3 store updates tonight I will be downloading the demo while playing G-Force and then give this Demo my full attention.
If any of you are going to play this or don't want to play this. Give your thoughts on why or why not here.
