The Bitmob Community Jukebox is all about video game music love. Each week, the community selects fifteen songs that will brighten any gamer's Monday morning.
With each post, I try to choose a theme. As it turns out, Taito's beloved, cherubic, bubble-blowing twin dragons -- Bub and Bob of Bubble Bobble fame -- host this week's Jukebox. Over the last two and half decades, the duo has appeared in a strange set of titles.
First they broke into the dungeon of Grumple Grommit and turned back into real boys. Then, they visited the Rainbow Islands and ascended to the heavens to defeat the Dark Shadow. In Bust-a-Move, they retired to a life of easy come, easy go puzzle solving -- and inexplicably became dragons again.
The community submissions vary pleasantly this week. Evan Killham offers a mysterious electronica piece from musician Amon Tobin. Jasmine Maleficent Rea's choice sends up the zombie/brain quandary with a song written as a memorandum. And make sure to check out Aaron Rivers' over-the-top thrash from Brütal Legend. Man, do I hate metal.
If you're interested in submitting a song, make sure to hit the jump to find out more.

Method 3: I'm Tired of This Playlist

Tired of this week's Jukebox selections? Want to scope which classic songs have already been nabbed by other Bitmobbers? Then check out The Bitmob Community Jukebox Archive. Contributor Evan Killham created -- and maintains -- a comprehensive list of every song that the community and I have ever chosen.
With hundreds of tunes now available in the Archive, you don't need to fret if this week's jams aren't to your taste. Just click the link, and the records keep on spinnin'!
For all you newcomers, here's how it works. There are few simple rules/guidelines for submitting songs:
1) Every week I will post 15 well-known -- and not-so-well-known -- songs.
2) For each post, I will choose as many as 14 community suggestions to put toward the 15. I will make up any shortfall.
3) Songs from music games with original music and licensed songs from game soundtracks like Grand Theft Auto are OK. Submissions from games like Guitar Hero or Rock Band will not be accepted. Otherwise, this post may turn into a competition between people's favorite bands.
4) Each week, I will select one song as the Double-Plus Good Pick of the Week. The winner will receive exactly nothing save that their song will be featured last and will have a "++good" marker next to it.
5) Only one submission response per person, per week.
I will always try to find the official name of any song I use -- whether it comes from myself or the community. If I am unable to verify a song's title, I will mark it with an asterisk (*).
Finally, if you'd like to win the Double-Plus Good Song of the Week, try to think of an obscure song or a song you think I have overlooked in previous posts.
P.S. Special thanks this week to Brian Shirk, Jasmine Maleficent Rea, and Evan Killham! You folks remember to submit a song every week, and for that, I'm grateful.

I'm a hardcore Halo hater, but even I have to admit that his selection's three (yes, count them three) movements are truly epic. Way to go Stephano.
We haven't had a hat-trick since the early days of the Jukebox. Can Stephano make it happen next week?
My Friday night aside, I already had two clinchers for my next suggestions. I was actually going to mix it up a bit this week, but now that there are lives on the line I think I'll play it a tad safer (meaning emotionally significant to me). So, that said, my suggestion is such:
inFAMOUS: (song - artist)
Silent Melody - Working for a Nuclear Free City
Just like with LittleBIGPlanet, after having seen inFAMOUS (the correct way ) being brought up this week I felt an compulsion to again suggest a track that I felt was the gold standard for the game. Even though it may have only ran during the end credits, this song ended my inFAMOUS thrill ride on a perfect note that hasn't touched me since the Ratchet & Clank Future games! So much so in fact that I purchased the song immediately after watching the credits, which it now enjoys a little spot inside my iPhone.
Well, hope that does something. And if not, I'll pretend it did and accuse James of setting me up and demand emotional reparations! 'Cause no one funks with my heart, no, no, no (tee hee)!
