Welcome to Bitmob Game Club!

Bitmob Game Club is a community collaboration, created by J. Cosmo Cohen,where a (typically free) game is chosen and then played by individual Bitmobbers. After playing a specific section of the game, the contributors write about it, Bitmob style (read: any way they want). All the stories are collected and posted in one place, allowing the whole community to participate!

This go around we will be featuring two games (sort of): Sonny 1 and 2. These games were created by Thai developer Krin, whole lives in England, for Armor Games.

This edition will be released in four parts over the next four weeks with each section containing two chapters from each game.

Sonny is definitely a fun game, so feel free to play along, and voice your comments, well... in the comments!

Anyway, on to the important bit: announcing the four participants.

Picked out of my very own Jimmy John's work hat are:

Travis McReynolds: This guy piqued my interest with a picture of a Half Life arcade machine, and with his general misadventures in Japan.

Aaron Rivers: Know-nothing wastrel and general ne'er do well (also roommate of me), whose inferior works include discussions about binary morality choices in video games and what constitutes good and bad DLC.

Chris Davidson: He hit my heart with an article about the compulsive need to get everything in games with collectibles, dealing with that impulse, and how developers should implement said collectibles responsibly.

Lance Darnell: That guy. You know him best as the guy who said he would guide us further into the world of Little Big Planet levels. But, you might know him from somewhere else too.

All four fellows should e-mail me at jamesderosa[at]sophitstgames[dot]com, to get specific instructions about what needs to be included in each of their Game Club entries!

Expect the first edition next Sunday.
